R&D engineer

Reports To: R&D Manager / Technical Head
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities specifically for solar inverters used in residential, commercial, and EPC solar projects.
- Analyze and evaluate inverter performance, efficiency, and reliability to improve system output and stability.
- Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of different inverter models and configurations.
- Study and implement new inverter technologies, firmware updates, and advanced features available in the solar market.
- Prepare technical reports, performance analysis, and documentation related to inverter testing and R&D activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, project execution, and service teams to resolve inverter-related technical issues.
- Provide technical support for inverter selection, compatibility, and system integration in solar projects.
- Work on optimization of inverter performance, system efficiency, and fault detection mechanisms.
- Collaborate with inverter manufacturers and vendors for technical evaluation, product testing, and feedback.
- Assist in developing guidelines and standard procedures for inverter installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor industry trends, new inverter technologies, and regulatory standards in the solar industry.
- Maintain proper documentation of R&D findings, test results, and technical improvements related to inverter systems.

Must Have
- Electrical / Electronics Engineering degree
- Solar inverter systems knowledge
- Inverter testing & troubleshooting experience
- Performance analysis and technical reporting
- Solar system integration understanding
Nice to have
- Experience with different inverter brands
Hybrid inverter or energy storage system knowledge
- Solar monitoring / SCADA knowledge
